The billing is set per beginning hour of studio use or of recording time in outdoor recordings.
High class mastering:

(Excourse: The stereo mix is the basis for the mastering process. Here you have to imagine, that many different sound sources(clusters) on two channels(stereo) are lying over each other, of which some frequency ranges are cutting out each other(cutting outs).
Here are parametric multi band compressors, enhancers, surround processors, eq´s etc. getting in use, under highest resolution(32 bit/ 96 Khz dithering), to cleanse up the edge plot of all elements, to widen transparence and sound depth and to lift up dynamics and presence, so that you get finally a total clear and wide sound spectrum.
The result can be set into equal compare in between hearing sense and watching sense, by regarding a brilliant sharp picture with more joy and relaxing, as if it was unsharp, shaken and dark for example. The sound ist like a picture for our ears, so a "sound picture")

Duplication&manufacturing:
-Redbook CD Premaster(Basis medium for duplication in CD-pressing companies)
The CD-endmaster is the so called CD-premaster, in case that the red book format requirements are fullfilled. In the pressing company, the premaster is getting transferred 1:1 onto the glasmaster, which is the end medium source for duplication in industry standard vacuum CD burning. The manufacturer is delivering the CD´s completely ready with printing parts and boxes in big packets for trading and directly posted to the desired address.
Manufacturing is running on demand by the customer.
Manufacturing is running on demand by the customer and can be done anytime again, without making a new premaster or glasmaster within the same material. An amount of 2000 CD´s pressing, makes the glasmaster come for free either.
The reading in from master tapes is being acounted extra per minute sound material length time. The red book premaster is costing once 60.- EUR. On making multiple premaster(versions or double CD´s), each premaster is being accounted extra. Each further copy of a premaster is priced related to the quantity.
If the customer is delivering a premaster already, the responsibility for any errors on the medium is completely on the customers side.
